What is the difference between a moisturizing and nourishing day cream?

A moisturizing day cream provides water to the skin thanks to humectant active ingredients such as hyaluronic acid or glycerin. It is suitable for skin dehydrated, often subject to pulling or a dull complexion. A nourishing cream, on the other hand, enriched with lipids (butters, vegetable oils, ceramides), strengthens the skin barrier and restores the hydrolipidic film. It is intended for dry or weakened skin, which lacks comfort and shows signs of flaking. Depending on the skin's needs, these two functions can be combined in a complete formula.
