Why do we need to make masks?

The face mask is an important moment of relaxation for you and your skin, whether it is dry, dull, oily, lacking firmness... Choose the texture and method of application suited to your needs and habits. Less dry skin, fresh epidermis, re-energized skin... The face mask will allow your skin to find all the elements and active ingredients it needs.

How often should you do face masks?

Listen to your skin! For dry skin: nothing better than a hydrating bath once or twice a week. For dull skin: some so-called "night" masks are applied two to three times a week in the evening, to be left on overnight. For oily skin or skin lacking firmness: same principle, once or twice a week is the ideal ritual, masks are your allies, don't forget them.

How to choose the right mask for your skin type?

Skin lacking hydration: All skin types need to be hydrated. Dry skin remains uncomfortable and often loses its radiance and beauty. Dry skin lacks water and lipids. The moisturizing mask will recharge your skin with water, and also on the eye contour and eyelids (for these areas, a specific mask can be applied). Oily skin: It will produce an excessive amount of sebum by the sebaceous glands and/or dehydration. If the skin lacks water, it will automatically produce sebum to protect itself. An overproduction of sebum will clog the pores and cause blemishes, pimples and blackheads. A mask for this problem eliminates impurities, purifies the skin without drying out the epidermis. Redness: Irritations, dryness, redness, the skin is sensitive to daily aggressions. The anti-redness mask protects the vascular system and limits aggravating factors. It provides, upon application, immediate comfort, leaves the skin soft, perfectly hydrated and soothed. A dull complexion: The complexion can lose its radiance due to a lack of sleep, skin aging, stress, an unbalanced diet or even poor elimination of toxins. As you will have understood, there are many factors that cause a bad complexion! Lack of firmness: Sagging skin is not only due to the sun or the passage of time, other factors can also be responsible for this phenomenon (pollution, tobacco, alcohol, pregnancy, genetics, poor diet, etc.).
