How to protect your skin from the sun?
The good weather is back and with it, the sun. But to fully enjoy it, it is essential to protect your skin from the sun, to avoid sunburn, which is as unpleasant as it is dangerous for your health.
Before the exhibition
Well-prepared skin will react appropriately to the sun, and will obtain a more harmonious and lasting tan. Before any exposure, it is essential to moisturize your skin more because the sun dries it out and weakens it. Generally recommended for dry and dehydrated skin, the Optimum Hydrating Serum is a thirst-quenching treatment, ideal for replenishing the skin with water before sun exposure.
Exfoliation is also recommended before sun exposure because it allows you to renew your skin before tanning: exfoliation stimulates cell renewal and eliminates impurities present on the skin. Exfoliation promotes long-lasting tanning, but be careful not to overdo it: exfoliating your skin more than twice a week can dry it out and make it vulnerable to the sun. The Gentle Exfoliating Veil is a gentle scrub with a gel texture that transforms into oil on contact with the skin to restore its softness; it is ideal for exfoliating without drying it out.
During the exhibition
When exposed to the sun, it is important to protect your skin to avoid sunburn... and thus premature skin aging. It is also recommended to adapt your skincare to your skin using the protection index commonly known as SPF (Sun Protection Factor). This index represents the multiplication of the time after which a sunburn would have appeared on your skin if you had not protected yourself. The skincare must also protect you from UVA and UVB rays; ultraviolet rays. It is thanks to them that the skin tans, but in too high doses they are also responsible for burns or the appearance of wrinkles.
Cell Protector is a protective treatment against UVA/UVB rays and environmental stress. This treatment provides perfect protection against all external aggressions such as UVA/UVB rays or pollution. Its SPF index is 50+: by using it, it will take you 500 minutes instead of 50 to get sunburned. Caution: sunscreen does not prevent tanning; it protects against burns and sunburn.
After the exhibition
After sun exposure, your skin inevitably dries out due to the power of UV rays on your skin. Moisturizing is therefore essential to prevent the skin from peeling quickly. Moisturizing with oil will help soothe overheated skin and fight against the harmful effects of the sun on the skin. In addition to nourishing and plumping the skin, Sublime Oil helps repair it by stimulating the reconstruction of the dermis. In case of sunburn, the Soothing Cream is ideal for moisturizing while relieving your skin from the burns inflicted during sun exposure.
