What are the ingredients of IOMA products?

Can I continue my skin care during pregnancy?
Al ll products from the FACE range may be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
In the BODY range, IOMA Gel Drainant Svelt and IOMA Gel Performance Svelt are not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.

What is the shelf life?
All IOMA products will keep for up to 12 months after opening.

How is the quality of IOMA products guaranteed?
The IOMA Research teams design each treatment as a meticulous and complex blend, with one sole imperative: proven effectiveness for every woman on all skin types.

To achieve this, IOMA Research teams follow strict specifications:
• Selection of the most effective active ingredients in dermo-cosmetic science,
• Concentration of active ingredients at optimum doses to ensure effectiveness,
• Optimization of textures to provide an exceptional sensory level and improve the implementation and effectiveness of care routines.

Are IOMA products tested on animals?
We do not do any testing on animals.

What if I have an allergic reaction?
All products are dermatologically tested and meet the most stringent quality standards and standards of cosmetics.

If you experience a continuous discomfort or an allergic reaction after using a product, we recommend that you follow the directions below:

1 - rinse your skin with cold water as soon as possible to eliminate potential product residue on your skin.
2 - stop using the product but keep it. The product can in some cases undergo a technical inspection.
3 - contact IOMA customer service so we can take care of you and tell you how to proceed.

Are your products suitable for all hair types?
IOMA HAIRCARE has developed a range of products that meet the needs of most hair issues. Dry hair? The HYDRA range is what you need. Perhaps, oily hair? Consider the PURETE range. You use heat-based hair styling tools or colour your hair? Our RENEW range will meet your expectations. Your hair lacks volume? The VOLUMY series will help you solve this problem. In case of brittle hair, the REVITALIZE range is a good choice. If you can't find exactly what you need, please don't hesitate and let us know what you're looking for and what your hair care issues are.

How are the perfumes?
We wanted a distinctive scent. A fragrance that underlines the hair care ritual and makes it addictive. The head notes are pineapple, lemon and raspberry. The heart notes are dominated by the scent of rose and magnolia. In the base note, patchouli, amber and sandalwood provide depth and intensity. This makes the hair routine a moment of pure pleasure.

How do we know our formulations are safe?
IOMA HAIRCARE guarantees the safety, quality and stability of its products in compliance with the European Cosmetics Regulation (EC) n°1223/2009. All formulas are evaluated by an independent toxicologist who certifies the safety of the product.

How is the reliability of IOMA HAIRCARE products guaranteed ?
IOMA is the specialist in personalized skin care. We have applied this know-how to our hair care products and developed innovative formulas. The conditioners are structured in "Microlayers". The treatment coats the hair fibre evenly allowing for better hair control, a more natural and shinier look. Moreover, we carry out instrumental tests to assess and measure the performance of our products. Find more results on our product pages.

Do the products contain parabens or sulphates ?
IOMA HAIRCARE products do not contain parabens.
There are several types sulphates. IOMA HAIRCARE may use Sodium Laureth Sulfate which is known to be less irritating, in concentrations that do not cause irritation to the scalp. We invite you to use our online diagnosis to get a product recommendation for your scalp and hair.

Are IOMA HAIRCARE products vegan? Are they tested on animals ?
We can confirm that none of our products have been tested on animals by us or by one of our partners. Furthermore, none of our IOMA HAIRCARE products contain any animal-derived ingredients.

Do any of your products contain silicones?
Some of our formulas include ingredients from the silicone family. They are carefully selected to meet the individual needs of the hair without harming it. They provide softness, shine and bounce. We have silicone-free products for those with oily or sensitive scalps. The selected silicones are totally harmless to the hair. The quantity of silicones is optimized in order to cause no harm to the scalp or hair length. At IOMA HAIRCARE, we focus on performance and efficiency.

Do your products have an expiration date?
We guarantee the quality, safety and stability of the products you find in our stores which are still valid. However, it is advisable to follow the recommended period of use mentioned on the packaging of our products : here, 12 months.

What should I do if I experience problems or reactions after applying a product (itching, irritation, redness...) ?
If you experience continued discomfort or an allergic reaction after using one of our products, we recommend that you follow the guidelines below :

1 - Rinse your hair and scalp with cold water as soon as possible to remove possible product residue from your skin.
2 - Stop using the product, but do not throw it away. In some cases, the product may be subject to technical expertise.
3 - Contact IOMA's customer service which will take care of you and tell you how to proceed.

We have implemented a very stringent cosmetics-monitoring-protocol in order to guarantee the greatest transparency and traceability.

Where can I buy IOMA HAIRCARE products ?
The IOMA HAIRCARE brand is available through a wide distribution network, in Beauty Success and Marionnaud outlets, in a selection of pharmacies and drugstores, on www.ioma-paris.com, within the myIEVA beauty subscription, the L'Atelier du Sourcil brand as well as certain Corner Atelier du Sourcil outlets. Are IOMA HAIRCARE products safe to use during pregnancy, breastfeeding or medical treatment ?
The contact time between the skin and hair care products is very short, so there is little risk associated with the use of our hair care products during pregnancy. However, we recommend that you talk to your doctor if you have any further questions.

Some of our packaging is recyclable, please don't throw it away!
The TRIMAN recycling label



informs the consumer that the packaging is due for sorting in view of recycling. The aim of the label is to identify products that can be recycled and collected separately once they become waste. The logo shows a human silhouette indicating the right behavior.

We offer several levels of customization.

The Beauty Routine combination of 3 complementary products depending on your product choice will provide you with a basic beauty routine, allowing you to target your skin's essential needs.

The Express Diagnostics allows us to target your needs with Skin Atlas and offer a beauty package including four complementary products to meet your beauty concerns effectively.

What is the express diagnosis for?
The Express Diagnosis allows us to target your needs and offer a Beauty Combination including 4 complementary products to meet your main beauty concerns effectively.

What is the UV forecast based on?
The UV information which we give you in order to protect your skin better are supplied by internationally recognized meteorological services.
They are refreshed automatically every 3 hours.

If you are looking for the UV forecast anywhere in the world, download the smartphone apps IOMA A MOI available for IOS and ANDROID and check it with the apps UV function.

Why do we ask for permission to use geolocation?
We use geolocation in order to provide you with updates on the UV conditions whereever you are. We also use it to search for a store which sells the IOMA brand near you in the "Getting here" section.

If you do not allow geolocation by our website, we will provide you with the UV conditions for Paris by default. To search for a store selling IOMA near you, you will have to give your address in the "search" field.

Your choice of geolocation is recorded in a cookie and used the next time you use the site.

How can I enable geolocation if I refused the first time?
If you refused geolocation by our website, we will ask you again in 8 days' time. You can also delete your cookies and this will trigger the request automatically upon the next visit to the site.

Why am I regularly asked to authorize geolocation on my mobile?
To ensure your mobile's positioning data is refreshed, we need to reset the geolocation process, and this is done in the form of a geolocation authorization request.
